The Big Trees Area in Humboldt Redwoods State Park is a great place to visit. There is a grove of large Redwoods, including I believe the tallest tree in the park, and the beautiful Bull Creek.

Less crowded area than Founders Grove - but just as spectacular. All the trees are tall here - so don't just focus on "Tall Tree" or "Giant Tree". Best to just wander and soak in the grove. The creek crossing is fun way to start the short jaunt. Easy to miss the turn off, but there is plenty of parking at the the trailhead.

Very beautiful area. There is a parking lot structure and then you can walk around. There is a small creek you can cross to get the the big trees area. High chances of spotting wildlife (elks) if you go early enough and there is no people around. I really enjoy the environment, the nature and the silence. Highly recommended
