Very nice state park, sandy and easy to walk to. Not the largest park, but plenty of room. There's picnic tables and benches, plus a playground and a field to run in. Also there's restrooms, which is nice. The only thing to note is that there isnt really any trash cans, so plan to take home every thing you bring.

Very clean beach, quiet and relaxing. Don't have to worry to much about the kids in the water its is shallow enough to get to them quick and there is a lifeguard on duty. We really like coming here.

Clean family friendly Beach that's perfect for little ones as you can go quite a ways out and still not be very deep. And it's not usually too packed. Even on a hot day still plenty of room to spread out a blanket and not be crowded.

Very pretty state park. What I loved the most is the beach is right beside the trees so you dont have to walk for a while to go to water and you can enjoy the beach under the tree shadow in the hot sun during summer. It does have picnic area and proper restrooms.

A beautiful little beach. Sandy, kids friendly. Gradual descent into the water, plenty of shallow area to play in for smaller kids. (It also has a very small playground, nothing too exciting.) No dogs allowed as in any State Park, during …

Favorite kid beach. Shallow water, soft sand, there are places under trees for shade and picnic tables with grills. Usually plenty of parking but on super hot weekend you want to get there early

Highly recommend coming in the off-season. Very peaceful in the spring. A short walk from parking outside the gate to the beach area. The playground does partially flood this time of year (march) as we expected, but a little mud never hurt.
