Place reminds me od Lake Mead with coves and heat! Was nice to have docks, porta potties and special swim docks throughout the water. Water was nice and not too busy with boats! Highly recommend. Take a tour of the dam too! They are great and have lots of information to share.

Took a spontaneous road trip and were pleasantly surprised when we happened upon the Dworshak Dam and Reservoir, and the Dworshak Fish Hatchery. Had a nice little picnic area and good restrooms
Such a beautiful day. I love the levels on the bank created by the water of level as it changes. The water was amaizng for swimming and the fish jumping was epic. This is a must see weekend adventure if you have a boat.

This place is fascinating, beautiful, great for picnicking, fishing, boating, camping, kids. So scenic and the dam is awesome, w a tour at the visitor center and self-guided tour at the hatchery. Never saw salmon leap for insects before. We want to come back.
Bass fishing this fall was amazing! 24 fish total, what a blast o had w my oldest son.
Love fishing there, but such a long walk for handicap. I wish they would restrict the parking closer to the docs for "Handicap Only"
