The trail is approximately 1.4 to 1.7 miles out and back. We stayed on the up Nice trail, pretty mossy waterfall. This was in April so it will probably change in the summer but should still be a nice hike. We couldn't Nice, hidden trail in the Tunxis State Forest. I've always liked that this gets less traffic than Enders and other, more popular hikes. Head.

Nice trail, pretty mossy waterfall. This was in April so it will probably change in the summer but should still be a nice hike. We couldn't find the markers for the lower falls but you can still reach it by following the river from the upper falls.
Nice, hidden trail in the Tunxis State Forest. I've always liked that this gets less traffic than Enders and other, more popular hikes. Heading left where the trail forks, down to the lower falls will give you the best views, though there is also a nice spot where two streams meet downstream from the bridge (third photo.)
This was an absolutely lovely trail with several small waterfalls or a group of small waterfalls along a brook. We went during the spring when the new leaves come out and the green is nice and fresh, and the weather was perfect for hiking, …
Great little hike, with a very beautiful waterfall at the end. But keep in mind that it's buggier than Windows 8, you're going to be swatting the entire time. I recommend an electric bug racket and deet if you want to survive.
