Must go for Kodiak. Beautiful rugged costal rocky cliffs, easy to get, easy to hike along it.
Amazing rain forest park. Moss covers trees and rocks, giving it an enchanting feeling. Trails are well maintained and marked. The views are beautiful and breathtaking. A must visit when in Kodiak.
It's Alaska, most everywhere is 5 star... Real beautiful trail walk around the little lake. Great views at Miller point. Fun little Military Museum if you are there Saturday or Sunday afternoon! Worth it.
Fifty shades of green. The park was stunning, with lush green moss covering the trees whilst the mist settled around us! As it had been raining, everything was sparkling and green! We were impressed with the well-built and maintained walking tracks that took you lakeside and to the coastline for stunning views.
State park within easy 10 minutes from downtown, well kept walking trails around a deep, quiet stocked lake Gertrude, thru verdant forests, and along a rocky driftwood strewn shore. There is a daily use fee 5$ a day or 50$ for the season …
It was raining all day in Kodiak and cleared in the evening. We got to enjoy serene and calm time with spectacular colors and super special trees! It’s beautiful and definitely worth visiting ✨
