Absolutely gorgeous spot for a lunch break or to watch a sunset. Plenty of parking available as well as picnic tables. Or just sit under the tree and enjoy the vista. You can see the both sides of the island from this place, Paia on one side and Kihai on the other. A few roosters and chicks to complete the party.

I love this place it's very peaceful and Serene. I like to come up here with friends sometimes I just talked story. He's crazy with a sunset appears well and it's always so cool the temperature. She doesn't come up here and bring it some sandwiches and chill or barbecue. It's awesome.
This is Rice Park. Named after a patriarch of a historically significant up-country family. A great place to catch a sunset or hang out when it's too hot down the hill. Recently renovated, it's a favorite for up country residents of all ages. Some picnic tables, restroom, etc. Come in peace, leave in more peace.
Bought a bento and took a ride up to Rice Park for the peace & view. Air was cool but you can tell spring/summer are just around the corner.

Awesome views, very clean park and restrooms. Across from the farms, nice to visit and see seasonal decor, veggies and events.
Awesome view of Maui from here. Bonus: if you come at sunset you can drink beers with all the local teens.
