I took a day drive from Spokane and stopped by this park on the way home. My car navigation lost the roads but the little arrow still moved in empty space. My phone did a little better. I knew I was in Idaho (I love Idaho) but wasn't quite …

Beautiful views of Washington farms and Idaho forest, the skyline drive is well marked (gravel road) with turnouts and little hikes and campsites. Watch out for the ATVs and dirt bikes though! Wildflower season is stunning from the top of the ridge, best views seemed to be at iron mountain campground, stop there for a picnic.

Still beautiful even in a dry year. What a great Park. Amazing that it was donated for public use. We camped at Iron Mountain Campground and had it to ourselves (except for flying insects) on a weeknight. Beautiful views. We’ll be back!

Redtail campground was nice. It happened to be hot the weekend we stayed. There was plenty of potable water. The restrooms were clean. Just not enough trees for shade from sun. (The reason for 3 stars).

Great place to camp, beautiful views, fun hikes and very peaceful...Unless kids on dirt bikes are tearing up and down the hillsides. Then it's noisy and they can be very rude. We try to go on weekdays so we don't have to deal with them.
