Long sandy beach to swim at. Camp spots are well spaced so your not right on top of the people next to you. Definitely worth it. Bring a generator if your staying for more than a couple days if your not setup for dry camping. Water was close to us but not a hose fitting.
We stayed in site 2. We came after a severe storm rolled through that took down 200+ year old trees and there was massive clean up in progress. The camp host was amazing and within a couple days had all the paved areas blown off clean. Our …
I've been to a lot of campsites and even though Luby Bay is on Priest Lake, it is one of the worst campsites I've been to. Its cramped and over priced. We had a group site which was the smallest group site I've ever seen and not even big …
Although the campground was beautiful and well kept, the conduct of the camp hosts at Luby Bay Campground during our family's stay over Father's Day weekend was terrible. My family and friends occupied two campsites for four days and …
My family's been camping at the luby bay campground for over 50 years. If you go down to the beach you will see a Rock Pierre about 10 ft long. My cousins and I first made that pier in 2016 and its stood there ever since. I moved to Dallas …
Love this campground! Stayed at 19 and it was a little unkept, but I left it cleaner than I found it 😁 Will be back next year! …
Bring cash or check for paying for the day use or camping. Day use is $8 and there are pay posts at the beach parking. Nice little campground and a beautiful view. Located next to the museum of Luby Bay. There is a beach that’s free at the museum too! Good walking path along the shore that goes for a long ways.
The campground is nice, you can't always say the same for your camping neighbors. People not controlling barking dogs and using generators clearly too loud for national park guidelines make the trip a little less enjoyable. But the view of nature almost makes up for it.
Great beach! Nice camp ground. You will not be disappointed. Get there early as the beach fills up quickly. The camp hosts are amazing and full of knowledge. A must visit location.
