Great spot to stop and stretch. Depending on what part of the forest you are at will depend on your access. Even raining it was still lovely. Easy boat access and but not clear trails at the boat launch.

I couldnt think of a single negative thing to say about this place. What stands out the most for me is the complete absence of litter. It has the most incredible views and the hike to the top is just the right amount of a challenge for anyone of any age. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Terrain is mostly flat, so not a challenging hike, but there are a variety of trails, all well maintained. Great for dogs, bikes, and horses.

This place is so much fun to go 4 wheelin. Muddy and bumpy trails and open areas with man made horseshoes and hills. Stay on the trails and clean up your mess or they'll close this place down for us offroaders which are hard to find in CT
